These past few weeks have been a blur. I’m still not too sure what’s going on cause it’s just been freaking amazing.  I’m not sure how I got so lucky. He’s great. Well more than great, he’s pretty darn amazing. So while things have been swell there’s this little problem that I thought I would never encounter - race.  We’re two different races and it seems that later on it’s going to cause some problems. For me it’s kind of weird because I was brought up to have a very open mind about people and things.  Don’t get me wrong, he’s like me, he doesn’t care but it seems that his family may care. Just a bit. Okay, maybe more than a bit. It’s going to be interesting figuring this one out but I’m hopeful. He’s just as ready as me to tackle those obstacles.  I’m starting to develop some high hopes for this one.  I hope I don’t come crashing down in the end.
